Clayton Kershaw has undergone shoulder surgery. Despite being on the cusp of an extension and retirement, Kershaw has made it clear that he wants to be on the mound next year.
Kershaw announced his shoulder surgery on Instagram on Thursday (April 4).
“This morning I had surgery to repair the labrum and glenohumeral ligament and joint capsule in my left shoulder,” he explained. The surgery was performed by Dr. Neelatrice. He is a renowned surgeon who has operated on Ryu Hyun-jin and Shohei Ohtani in the past.
