‘Paris Olympic rehearsal OK~’ Kim Joo-hyung finished tied for 6th place on the Olympic course

Kim Joo-hyung ranked in the top 10 at the DP World Tour French Open (total prize money of $3.25 million). 

Since the competition was held on the Paris Olympic course next year, I am glad to see Kim Joo-hyung’s performance. As of the 25th, Kim Joo-hyung was ranked 19th in the world, the highest among Korean players. Since the players participating in the Paris Olympics are determined based on world rankings, Kim Joo-hyung is likely to participate. 

Kim Joo-hyung hit a 3-under par 68 in the final round of the tournament held at Le Golf National (par 71) near Paris, France on the 25th, and tied for 6th place with a final total of 4 under par 275 strokes. The prize money is 85,751 euros (about 121.8 million won).

The French Open was founded in 1991 as the French golf national title tournament. In 2018, the Ryder Cup, a men’s golf competition between the United States and Europe, was held.

The championship went to Ryo Hisatsune (Japan), who recorded a total of 14 under par, 270 strokes.

Hisatsune, whose best result was a runner-up finish at the Australian PGA Championship last year, won his first career victory in this tournament. 

Jepp Winter (Denmark) and Jordan Smith (England) tied for second place with a total of 12 under par 272 strokes.
